Spring Fever!

Winter is far from over and I am finding myself wanting to do some Spring cleaning.  Along with that comes a desire to organize.  If you have children in school you will understand where I am coming from.  Each day they bring home stacks of papers that are either for the purpose of turning back in as homework or a notice of a school activity.  .  .  the list is endless.  I find myself putting things in piles on the kitchen island with every intention of going through and reading each piece of paper.  The stack tends to grow and then it is difficult to find anything, so. . . I decided to try and organize the kids work in categories for each child.  Thus my first craft tutorial!!!!!  Hope you enjoy.

To begin you will need several clip boards (cost about $2 each at any office supply store), some card stock or scrapbook paper, paper punch ( I chose Martha Stewart's scalloped paper punch) and some Mod Podge (or off brand is fine).

Using the paper punch begin on the bottom two corners of the paper with the angled punch and then with the flat punch finish off the three sides.

You will then need a sponge brush to apply the paste to the clip board front. Then lay the paper on top wiping any bubbles.  After that has dried you will want to put another coat of paste over the entire clip board and paper to seal it in.

Once dry they are ready to be hung.

These can be used for homework, lists, kids artwork or even as photo holders.

Enjoy your Spring cleaning!
