The F Family

Is it just me or is southern california uncharacteristically warm for December?  Well, at least until the sun goes down and then it drops to freezing!  A few years ago I met the amazing F Family.  I have had a ton of fun getting to know them and really enjoyed my time with Jen running, photographing and coffeeing (yah that's not a word is it).  Their story is amazing and I am privileged to be a part.  Here is a window into our time together.

It is so fun to capture growing families, especially this family.  I knew all three of the young men in this photo when they were just little guys (Wow, I feel old!).   Here are a few from our shoot!

The S Family (just a few)

I LOVE the cold, which is in complete opposition to my husband (who wishes it were 100 degrees year round).  I love fires on chilly nights, I love the scarves and puffy coats and I love running around without feeling like a hot mess!  It must be all those years growing up in the Northwest and maybe a little of the Scandinavian blood in me.  : )
Yesterday was so beautiful.  I am reminded how blessed I am to live in a beautiful area of the desert where I can appreciate the mountains and dirt.  I am being sincere when I say this.  .  . Ok, so here are a few photos of my evening with the fun S Family.

Scrambled Eggs and Pigtails

Today I am reminded how nice it is to have another girl in the house.  She not only loves to mimic what I am doing (i.e.  putting away dishes, laundry or wiping the floor) she loves to eat!  That in combination with the adorable pigtails will make any mama's day!  Here are a few photos of E eating three, yes three scrambled eggs and  showing off that adorable hair.

The N Family

The leaves are finally falling here in the desert and I am loving this cold weather!  The amazing N Family braved the cold so that I could capture them for the holidays.  I love this family and enjoyed every second!

The kids were a blast to shoot.  This last photo is my favorite of J.  When asked what he was doing he and his sister said, "Blending in".

Turkey Day!

So once a year I decorate and dress my dining room table.  It is Thanksgiving and our tradition of having friends over who are far from family continues.  Here are a few photos of the adult table and kids table as well as a few of my E.
